Camelot
There is no actual city called Camelot. Historians have tried to figure out which medieval city may have served as the inspiration for Camelot, but they do not always agree.
Camelot, in the legends, was King Arthur's capital and the seat of his court. During the early years of his reign, he and Queen Guinevere were quite happy there, and ruled over a kingdom with peace and prosperity. Generally, Camelot came to symbolize an ideal city with perfect rulers.
