The Questing Beast
Legend says that the Questing Beast was born from a princess who had given herself to a demon. The Beast barked like a dog, and in one version was described as having the feet of a horse, a snake's head, a leopard's body, and a lion's legs and tail.
King Pellinore spent many years searching after the Questing Beast, as did Sir Palomides.

The Quest for the Holy Grail
The Holy Grail has been described as a few different objects. Most often, it is either the cup used by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper, or it is the cup used by Joseph of Arimathea to catch Jesus's blood as he died on the cross. Either way, the Holy Grail was brought to Britain by Joseph of Arimathea, perhaps to Glastonbury Abbey, and hidden until someone worthy would find it. His descendants were said to be the kings of Corbenic.

The Fisher King
King Pellas, the father of Elaine and grandfather of Sir Galahad, was also known as the Fisher King, or the Wounded King. He was, at some point, wounded in the thigh by Sir Balin and could only be healed by a certain worthy knight. All he can do is fish and wait.
Sirs Galahad, Bors, and Percival come to Corbenic to find the Grail. Percival is able to heal the Fisher King, but then he is unable to grasp the Grail.
Also at the Grail Castle is Percival's sister. Sometimes she is referred to as Dindraine. She gives them helpful information for their quest.
Once Galahad, Bors, and Percival saw the Grail, only Bors returned to Camelot. Percival stayed to be with his true love, and he became king of the Grail Castle. Galahad, it is said, ascended into heaven with the Grail. He was the only one able to do so since he was the purest of heart and the only one worthy of the Grail.
